I finally got to see my friend Melissa and her adorable five month old baby, Isabel. What a cutie! Last time I saw Melissa was at her baby shower back in January so we were due for a visit.

Walker

At 14 months (as of last Saturday) Nate is a full fledged walker. He walks minutes at a time, going from room to room, without falling. He crawls occasionally but prefers walking. He is unable to get from sitting to standing by himself so he crawls to get somewhere to pull up. He's able to get up as long as he has just a couple of inches to push up on. For instance, he can stand up by pushing off from the bathroom scale, and easily from the CD player on the floor. I'm sure he'll be able to get up on his own pretty soon. Each day he is getting steadier. These two videos were taken Sunday, but even now he is doing much better.

I had to wake Nate up (gasp!) from a 2+ hour nap to go to music class.

I didn't get a video of him dancing like Tom Cruise, but he definitely looked the part.

Forget our lame CD player, Nate's new best friend is the iJuke.
All weekend we heard "ooshic, ooshic, ooshic"--Nate requesting music (he's obsessed).
