I'm a little behind on this post, but here are some pictures from Jessie's bridal shower. What a beautiful shower and beautiful bride-to-be. Less than six weeks until the big day!

Special visitors

Edward's parents made the long trip from West Virginia to visit us for the weekend. We hadn't seen them since our trip to Florida in July so we were glad to see them again.

Saturday was National Museum Day and we hit up the nearby Trolley Museum. Parts of it were enjoyable but I'm glad it was free admission for the day and that it hadn't cost the regular $8 a person.

Back home. Nate enjoyed showing Jim his toys.

Nate's new fun activity--throwing a toy for Piper and running back and forth across the apartment while doing so.

Sadly Jim and Jane had to leave Sunday afternoon--such a quick visit!

After saying goodbye we headed over to Bishop's Orchard and picked nearly 20 pounds of apples.

Nate had his fill while we picked.

Such a great weekend. We have lots of exciting weekend events the next few months. Should be an excellent fall!
