Wagon ride

Do you see the tiny red dot at the bottom of the street?

It's PopPop pulling the kiddies

You're a grand old flag...

Sketch Me

Jessie took a picture of Nate on her iPhone and then used the Sketch Me app to turn the picture into a sketch. Strong resemblance to the Gerber baby, eh?

Here's the original

There's a cute little smile hiding behind all the blur

Beach boy

Nate's first trip to the beach was a success. He didn't like when I put his feet in the ocean (which really wasn't very cold) but he loved watching the people, seagulls, and airplanes flying by.

Cleaning sand of my feet. They were "der-dee", one of Nate's new words (I'm often telling him to avoid certain places and things because they are dirty).

A perfect beach day

Dancing Rafa

Edward commented that Nate looks like a little Rafa Nadal in this outfit (the manpris, sneaks, white shirt). I see it.

Theeeeese cats rock!

If you live in our area then you've probably seen the commercial for the Rock Cats baseball team (AAA team) and are familiar with their jingle. We went to an afternoon game on Sunday and had a great time. It was incredibly hot (car therm read 94 as we were driving home) and we left by the fourth of fifth inning, but we enjoyed free ice cream and taking in the sights and sounds of the stadium.

Nate brought his glove but didn't catch any fly balls. Next time!

There was a wonderful play area for kids. What a great idea!

back home!
