To celebrate his nine month birthday Nate got to try his first Oreo (well, just a tiny taste).
He had his nine month checkup on Friday and here are the stats:
weight - 20lbs 5 oz (50th %)
height - 28.5 inches (50th)
head circum - 47 cm (90th)
I am happy to report that he is doing well. That was not the case a few weeks ago. In mid January we lost our sweet, content Nate to screaming-arching his back-throwing his legs-can't sleep-won't eat or nurse-Nate. After a few weeks of misery we took him to the doctor and all symptoms pointed to acid reflux. We got him started on Prevacid one week ago and he is back to his old happy self. Thank goodness!

Nate hates pureed vegetables (peas, squash, and green beans have all made him gag and wretch) but enjoys carrots and broccoli in their non-pureed state.
Edward took these next two pictures to show me what happens when I leave Nate (and by leave I mean take a two minute shower).
Not to worry, Nate made a quick recovery. He was eating dinner until he got distracted by some Piper action. Edward pulled out his laser (see him in the background) and Nate got a kick out of Piper jumping on the wall trying to catch the light.
